The local Chiltern Society Path Maintenance Volunteers have cleared the footpaths (EW22 and BN20) - the paths that skirt behind RAF Benson’s married quarters and emerge onto Beggarbush Hill). I am sure all the walkers and riders are extremely grateful to this very small band of volunteers, who give up their free time to tackle the never ending clearance of impeding side and overgrowth on our public paths.
Jenny Beardmore at OCC Highways has assured me that they will clear the bridleway at Warren Bottom Farm (NU3) this autumn. It has been seriously overgrown this year but riders are able to ride on the field headland beside it. Any other problem paths please report to me or to Jenny directly.
