The Little Egret that has been with us since the end of August is still causing a lot of interest. Geoff Moseley and Avril both thought they were seeing double when two Little Egrets appeared feeding with the heron. Catherine are has seen it at the bottom of her garden about four times and it spends time outside Angela Harrison's house and ignores her completely and has been seen on Richard Harrison's lawn.arrison lslawn. The first visit to the site every morning is behind Gerald Smith's house.
The Water Rail appeared a little early this year, 1 October. In the past we have had as many as four on site. They will stay until the end of March and fly away probably to Otmoor to breed.
